The photo on the left is unaltered. It was taken at about 8:30 p.m.
so the natural light was fading. I set my camera to night time
landscape.
In the photo on the right I used dodge/burn to lighten the trees
behind us. I then added a layer and whitend my shirt (on right).
I also tried for a little more change and added some soft pink in
another layer on a small bush to the right.

Definitely better with the edits you did. There is a lot more detail in your faces and it looks a lot more balanced and not overexposed.
ReplyDeleteI did like the first picture better...the darker one. I like dark lines in pictures....makes things seem more dramatic. But the second one does look nicer in terms of your shirt being brighter, faces being clearer....etc. Great job!
